Eyes on the goal, multi-piece
Amid the vibrant chaos of Austin’s HOPE Outdoor Gallery, my daughter found her canvas, her voice. Draped in the colors of her individuality, she painted herself into the world – a living testament to authenticity. Above her, the graffiti proclaimed, “I am I,” a mantra as bold as her strokes. It was a moment of clarity: being true to oneself is the foundation of all greatness. Her eyes, filled with focus and wonder, mirrored the creative energy around her.
Who's rich? (Luang Prabang, Laos)
In Luang Prabang, monks draped in saffron robes walk among gilded monasteries, their quiet presence illuminating a town where the spiritual world intertwines with the material. Here, the question of wealth takes on new meaning – reminding us that true richness lies not in possessions but in purpose, in stillness, and in the pursuit of something greater than ourselves.
Silence (Saudi Arabia)
Imagine the profound stillness at Elephant Rock in AlUla, a sandstone colossus shaped over millennia by the tender hands of wind, rain, and time. Here, silence speaks in whispers of resilience, of endurance, of the untold stories etched into the rock’s surface. Al Disah Valley, with its towering cliffs and hidden springs, offers a symphony of nature’s quiet melodies – a space where the mind clears, the heart opens, and creativity blooms. Both places are symbols of natural resilience and tranquility, which beautifully reflect the concept of awareness. They encourage deep reflection, clarity, and an appreciation for quiet wisdom.
Awareness (Venice, Italy)
Carnival in Venice is more than a celebration – it’s a liberation. Beneath masks adorned with intricate artistry lies a history of anonymity and freedom from rigid class divides. Today, the festival’s return is a vivid reminder that individuality can thrive in unity, and beauty transcends time.
Repetition (Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania)
As zebras migrate across the vast Ngorongoro Conservation Area in spring, their unique stripes blending into a collective rhythm that mirrors life itself and remind us of life’s paradox: no two are the same, yet together they create harmony. Like human fingerprints, our paths may seem repetitive, but each choice leads to a unique outcome. In their rhythmic strides lies a lesson – progress often hides in persistence.
Gratitude (Mallorca, Spain)
In the heart of Mallorca’s Pla, fields awaken with the soft blush of pink blossoms. The sun’s gentle rays kiss the earth, and a quiet gratitude rises. On this serene morning, nature’s subtle beauty whispered a simple truth: each day is a gift, waiting to be embraced.
Decisions (New Mexico, United States)
At the edge of the Rio Grande Gorge, a solar-powered ice cream bus creates an unforgettable contrast. Its vibrant colors invite smiles, while the dramatic gorge symbolizes life’s crossroads. Here, standing at the edge of possibility, the choice becomes clear: savor the sweetness of the moment, take bold strides forward, and embrace the unknown with courage. Life’s boldest adventures often begin with a single courageous choice.
Thoughts (Maasai Mara National Park, Kenya)
Beneath the expansive African sky, a young Maasai warrior stands poised, a striking figure of resolve and reflection. His gaze holds a quiet intensity, embodying the wisdom of his ancestors and the boundless potential of his future. Nearby, the rhythmic leaps of the Adumu dance resound – a celebration of strength, unity, and tradition. In the stillness of his stance, you see the heart of a thoughtful warrior, caught between the echoes of his past and the promises of his tomorrow.
Will it be easy? (Mallorca, Spain)
The winding 14-kilometer road to Sa Calobra is a testament to nature’s wild artistry, its twelve dramatic hairpin bends, including the famous "Tie Knot". Each twist and turn demands focus and commitment, echoing the challenges we face in life. At the journey’s end, the stunning Torrent de Pareis beach reveals itself – a sanctuary cradled by towering cliffs. The journey reminds us that effort, no matter how arduous, leads to beauty and fulfillment. Whether arriving by car or yacht, the destination’s splendor makes every challenge worthwhile.
No matter what (New Mexico, United States)
The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is a spectacle of wonder. As nearly 500 balloons ascend, they create a kaleidoscope of color in the sky. On special shape day, creativity soars, reminding us that no matter what challenges we face, the beauty of life lies in daring to rise together.
Believe you can (Brussels, Belgium)
In a quiet corner of the heart of Brussels, humor and creativity meet in a monarchy-inspired street art mural, adding a touch of whimsy to the skate park nearby. Its message is simple yet profound: believe in the unexpected, and trust your potential. In a city known for its resilience and cultural vibrancy, this piece is a nod to choosing optimism and confidence. Decisions don’t always need grandeur; sometimes, they’re made in quiet moments of belief. With a playful spirit and an open heart, Brussels invites you to embrace possibility.
What are you thinking? (Cape, South Africa)
The painted old man of Muizenberg gazes out from a mural, his eyes brimming with unspoken stories. Amidst the youthful energy of Surfer’s Corner, his quiet presence invites introspection. This striking artwork reminds us that awareness begins with asking ourselves the simplest of questions: “What are you thinking?” In moments of stillness, clarity emerges. The painted gaze becomes a mirror, urging us to look inward and embrace growth through
Kick ass (New York City, United States)
Grit meets ambition under the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. New York doesn’t whisper its dreams — it chases them with full force. A powerful reminder to rise, be bold, and kick ass.
Cash (Madrid, Spain)
Captured in a signature shop in Madrid – a place both modern and timeless. Every purchase ends with the same ritual: paying. A reminder that everything in life has its price. To meet it, you need the right energy – clarity, intention, and the willingness to give before you receive.
Keep your focus (Mallorca, Spain)
Taken in Binissalem – a place that whispers of stillness and clarity. Focus sharpens the present moment and clears the path ahead. It’s not about what you see, but about what you choose to keep in sight.
Love yourself (Texas, United States)
In the vibrant chaos of Austin’s HOPE Outdoor Gallery, creativity finds its raw and fleeting expression. This outdoor graffiti haven, where artists spray their dreams and emotions onto layered walls, becomes a Darwinian canvas. Only the most compelling art survives. Among them was the heartfelt message “Love Yourself,” a vivid reminder of self-acceptance. Within hours, “Love Yourself” evolved to “Love Yourself and Tacos.” This quirky transformation captures the city’s creative spirit and reminds us that self-love is where transformation begins. In embracing ourselves, we open the door to humor, growth, and unexpected joys - like breakfast tacos in Austin.
Stand out (Havana, Cuba)
Amid Havana’s lively streets, this painting bursts with color and charisma. The woman’s bold outfit and the iconic Cohiba cigar she enjoys radiate unapologetic confidence. In a city alive with rhythm, art, and history, this image reminds us to embrace our own flair and stand out in a world that often favors conformity.
Why you started (Mallorca, Spain)
Santa Catalina, an old fisherman’s village in Palma de Mallorca, is now a bustling hotspot with a mix of Mediterranean charm and modern bars and restaurants. While wandering the area, I discovered this street art. Mallorca’s special light has always inspired artists. The lion man, distracted from his original path, illustrates a key lesson: 'If the why is powerful, the how is easy,' Jim Rohn taught. A strong enough reason unleashes your true potential.
I will (Outback Queensland, Australia)
The rugged beauty of Queensland’s Outback comes alive with the sounds of cockatoos, the rustle of eucalyptus leaves, and the earthy scent of red dust. Amid this wilderness, jackaroos (Australia’s cowboys) herd cattle with unwavering skill and determination. Their defiance in preserving this fading craft mirrors the spirit of the land itself: wild, resilient, and unapologetically authentic.
Change to be (New Mexico, United States)
In the open expanse of New Mexico, an oldtimer car, weathered by time, sits motionless against the desert’s endless horizon. Once a machine of movement and purpose, it now rests - a silent witness to the passing years. Yet, in its stillness, there is transformation. The peeling paint and rusted edges tell a story not of decay, but of evolution. Change is inevitable, but awareness shapes how we embrace it. Like this oldtimer, we carry history within us, yet we are not bound by it. Growth comes when we recognize that who we were is not who we must remain. The desert, with its shifting sands and endless sky, reminds us that transformation is not about holding on - it’s about becoming.
Be yourself (Australia, Queensland)
During my three-month stay at a cattle station in the Australian Outback, I witnessed the embodiment of being oneself through the Jackaroo (Australian cowboy). The life was tough and dangerous but deeply fulfilling. The Outback’s lifestyle is purpose-built for cattle ranching, requiring authenticity and grit. "Be yourself" means living according to your values and goals, staying true to your identity despite external pressures. "Be yourself" champions authenticity, emphasizing the importance of staying true to one’s values and identity in all circumstances.
What are you thinking? (Mallorca, Spain)
There is a lot of art in the island’s roundabouts. International but mostly national artists like the one in the picture from Miguel Sarasate named ‘Ball de‘s Cultures’. The very special eye-catcher is worth an extra turn, especially during sunrise and sunset. By asking yourself what you are thinking, you can actively use the power of your thoughts to improve your life and help you achieve your goals. How? When thinking, your mind creates thoughts about the present situation. It affects the way you feel. Your feelings influence your choices, behaviours and, finally, your results. Be aware of your thoughts and consciously create the life you desire.
Expect the best (Panama City, Panama)
In the early days, no one, not even a Panameño, dared to enter old part of the town of Panama City. Today, it’s a UNESCO World Heritage site and a vibrant neighborhood filled with trendy restaurants and businesses. This transformation highlights the power of expectation. By expecting the best, you not only prepare yourself for success but also position yourself to achieve it.
Good times (Mallorca, Spain)
The Balearic Islands' day of celebration, "Día de les Illes Balears", brings joy through every beat of its vibrant rhythms. In Palma’s cobblestone streets, where history pulses with every step, a donkey carriage stands still, reminding us of simpler times. Once, these carriages transported goods and people through winding paths, under the relentless sun. Today, we zoom through life with ease, too often forgetting the strength we’ve inherited from those who built their lives with grit and determination. The quiet hum of tradition reminds us: growth is forged in adversity, and only through challenge can we rise.
Response-ability (Lanzarote, Spain)
Lanzarote, the easternmost of the Canary Islands, offers a landscape that feels like an artist’s canvas – stark yet mesmerizing. Here, the lava fields stretch endlessly, with black sand beaches contrasting sharply against vivid greenery. The volcanic craters, formed centuries ago, create a surreal ambiance, and Timanfaya National Park’s otherworldly terrain could almost be mistaken for the moon itself. This desolate beauty brings a quiet presence, inviting reflection. Amid this vast expanse, we are reminded of our ability to choose, to respond to life’s challenges with calm intention, carving a path through the chaos with grace and awareness.
FWIW (Jaisalmer, India)
Travel transforms the unknown into the unforgettable. In Jaisalmer, the golden sands beckoned with whispers of ancient tales, yet only by walking with them could I understand their story. The truths we seek are not found in guidebooks but in the moments we dare to experience for ourselves. Every journey, no matter how uncertain, holds the power to expand our world and shift our perspective.
500+ (Texas, United States)
At Austin’s HOPE Outdoor Gallery, layers of graffiti tell stories of love, hope, and creativity. Amid the chaos of color, a shimmering golden heart caught our eyes – a visual embodiment of David R. This golden moment reminded us that art, like life, can lift us toward a higher state of being.

Focus is power (Mallorca, Spain)
In Fornalutx, nestled within the rugged Sierra de Tramuntana, a little cat lounges gracefully against the sunlit stone walls, embodying the village’s timeless charm. This tranquil scene invites reflection, demonstrating how deliberate stillness sharpens focus. In moments like these, the mind finds clarity. Just as the cat rests with a sense of purpose, we too can pause, recalibrate, and redirect our energy. Fornalutx is more than picturesque; it invites you to pause, breathe, and find clarity amidst the mountains’ embrace.
Let it go (New Mexico, United States)
Just outside Taos, a rustic brown Dixie toilet sits incongruously in the vast desert, blending into the Earthship Biotecture’s rugged terrain. Its oddity drew me in, a symbol of release and acceptance. Letting go is rarely easy – whether it’s fear, control, or expectations – but it’s a choice that frees us. Like the stark simplicity of this scene, the act of release strips away unnecessary weight, leaving space for renewal. Sometimes, the desert whispers, "Let it go," and in that moment, clarity emerges from the vast openness.
ICYMI (Schladming, Austria)
Waking up to the majestic Dachstein massif each morning feels like living within a painting. The path to Guttenberghaus, perched at 2,146 meters, is steep and demanding, but every step rewards you with breathtaking beauty. Nature teaches us here: great heights are reached through determination, and every climb is worth the view.
Love the journey (Arizona, United States)
With a weathered jeep, gold pans, and a rugged spirit, our guide was a man rooted in passion and the timeless beauty of Arizona’s Sonoran Desert. His tales of prospecting gold sparkled as brightly as the small nugget we panned from the sand – a tangible reminder of the journey itself. After this wild desert adventure, we returned to Scottsdale, cherishing not just the destination but every twist and turn along the way.
Only one you (Granada, Spain)
Street art in Granada is more than just paint on walls – it’s an unspoken declaration of individuality. It tells the story of a city where every corner reflects a personal journey, a vision, or a rebellion against the status quo. As I wandered near the Alhambra, I saw a piece that resonated deeply – “Only One You”. In a world that often demands conformity, this art speaks louder than words: each of us is unique, and that uniqueness is both precious and irreplaceable.
Peace PLJ (Mallorca, Spain)
The seafront promenade of Es Molinar whispers serenity, where small sandy beaches embrace gentle waves and palms sway to the rhythm of the Mediterranean breeze. Framed by the charm of typical Mallorcan houses, this coastal haven remains a retreat for locals. A 16-kilometer cycle path elegantly threads through this picturesque stretch, connecting the golden sands of Playa de Palma to the lively Port of Palma. Particularly enchanting is the walk or ride from Es Molinar to the tranquil shores of Ciudad Jardin, where the simplicity of life blends seamlessly with the sea’s endless horizon.

Captured during a home exchange, in a garden full of quiet joy. The rabbit roamed freely – playful, curious, unbothered. A gentle lesson in being present, lighthearted, and simply enjoying the moment.
Best mode (Red Desert, Saudi Arabia)
The vast Red Sand dunes of Saudi Arabia are a playground for adventure, where the rush of dune-bashing, the thrill of sandboarding, and the quiet beauty of a desert sunset come together in a perfect blend of exhilaration and serenity. In this majestic desert, the mode to be in is one of pure presence – fully engaged with the landscape, embracing the vastness, and feeling the raw energy of the earth beneath your feet. Just as the desert demands presence, so too does life. By embracing challenges with the same adventurous attitude, we find joy and serenity amidst chaos.

These people are not just companions, but part of a journey that nourishes our growth. Surround yourself with those who lift you higher; the right circle accelerates the path to your dreams.
Enjoy (Tasmania, Australia)
It is such an incredible, inspiring place where local artists create awesome art on the lasting material of steel panels. A place whose purpose is not initially art. As life goes, sometimes the not-so-obvious has a good capacity to become your highlight of the day. So it happened in the small town of Geeveston. A great junkyard with the finest street art.
Wherever you go (Mallorca, Spain)
In Son Serra de Marina, the soft sand invited creativity, and with a few swift strokes, our Chinese au pair left a beautiful reminder on the beach. It was more than just art – it was a philosophy, a truth: wherever you go, you leave something behind. Experiences shape you, and with each journey, the layers of your story unfold. The shimmering skyline and the vast desert beyond serve as reminders that the world is full of possibility, and we are all here to explore it.
Power (Nice, France)
In the heart of Place Masséna stands a statue of Apollo, the Greek god who carries the sun across the sky in a chariot pulled by four mighty horses. But the sculpture I captured told a different story – an interpretation of power not in motion but in stillness. With the horses' crown on his head, Apollo's presence in marble was captivating. His backside, strong and regal, offered a deeper sense of his might. It reminded me of how true power often lies in the quiet confidence of restraint.
